This week already has provided me with the most amazing opportunities. I have booked in for two new markets that are being held in the Ipswich & Scenic Rim area. This weekend I am off to Boonah - about 45min drive from Ipswich. The Rotary club and Boonah Show Society are starting a "Make it , Bake it, Take it" type farmers market which will be held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at the Boonah showground.
I have just bought a new market tent as my old one was on the verge of collapse. I have also invested in some professional signage with my new logo and some wonderful colour picture of my custom lampwork designs. Can't wait to take photos and share with you all.
I am also booked in to go to the newly formed Ipswich Indoor Baazar - which will be held on the last Sunday of the Month at the Ipswich High School Hall - 1 Hunter Street Brassall. These guys were running the Karalee Sunday Markets but it seem like time for them to move and expand. The have a blog if you are interested.
I also had a visit today from the creators of The Swich Contemporary Art Space I am going to have some custom lampwork creations in thier gallery space for sale.
It just keeps coming this week - I have aldo had an expression of interest from a retirement village to run a couple of classes to show some of the ladies how to bead.
So I have been a very busy girl and have been down making beads nearly every night - I have been going back to basics and relearning some technqiue so that when I get to the more complex beads that I have been really wanting to try that I will have some of the other stuff down pat.
Gee that was a big post for me!
